About Perry
My name is Perry and I was born in the mysterious land they call Central New Jersey. I’ve experienced an interesting life full of taking chances and making mistakes. I believe we all have. That is, live interesting lives compounded by moments which inevitably build up to make us who we are. I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, and have always maintained a deep passion and sense of fulfillment from living an active lifestyle. As a rock climber, I pushed the boundaries of what I knew was physically and mentally possible for myself. I also nearly completely destroyed my body, but more about that later. I work in education as a Teacher, but am looking to move away from that. Let’s just say that education isn’t what it used to be, but, perhaps, more about that later as well. I guess that is why I am here writing this today, so that I may try and find another way to support myself and give back to others. To do something more fulfilling with my life that gives me a deeper sense of purpose.
About 2 years ago from writing of this, I moved from my cozy overpriced apartment into a van. A decision I made to consolidate my lifestyle, be more financially stable, and less stressed. So far, It has worked out pretty well and has enabled me to dedicate more time to developing things more aligned with my purpose, such as this blog.
